The New Yorker Class Concept

Project 1 made for my Illustration Concepts course in Fall 2023.

My 'The New Yorker Class Concept' is an Illustration Concepts course project that focuses on an abandoned Wendy's building as its subject. This work is meant to practice in making magazine covers, such as one from The New Yorker. The project features a 3D design made in Blender, with the use of Google Maps importing to create a realistic representation. The work also comments on the anti-car movement and how we live in a late-stage capitalist society that is heavily car-dependent, leaving behind empty land.
